JM: Is there anything else you would want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to jail?
Jen: Never plead No Contest and always know and
understand your charges. Find out what it will
take to file an appeal. Don't cause trouble in the
jail while your there. Never take in contraband
and never take part in the usage of any one else
who brings in contraband it can also lead to more
trouble for yourself while you are incarcerated;
especially in Tulare County where the law and time
stand in whatever favor they want it to stand.
Don't fight or have words with others, especially
the cops; it will only make things worse.
JM: Is there anything else you would recommend to a future inmate?
Jen: Stay clear of gang affiliation, and don't act bad
ass to the cops or other inmates. Treat others
with respect and they will return it to you.
